John Joseph "Jack" Robertson was diagnosed at two days old with a congenital heart defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS).   Tragically and to his families eternal sadness, Jack passed away on December 26, 2009 at the young age of 4 years.

His life was not defined by the 7 open heart surgeries, multiple heart caths or the 268 days he spent in the hospital.

Rather, he was a loving little boy who lived his life to the fullest.

This website was originally created to document Jack's journey, to provide information about HLHS and Shone's Syndrome and hopefully to serve as an inspiration to other heart children and their parents.

After his passing, his parents created a fund in Jack's name to help out other heart families who face extended hospitalizations.

Jack’s heart was finally fixed and now big enough to share with the world.
